A Room of Their Own

Within the current context of feminist emancipation, female empowerment and blurring of gender divides, what does it mean to be a woman today? In all ages of life, through introspection or expression, individually or collectively, on their own or with family and friends, how do women form, transform, and perform their identity? Walking on this path as a little girl, a teenager, and an adult, I have always kept wondering how every woman becomes a person of her own. Thus, this series aims to build a reflection on how women can construct, brick by brick, a “room of their own”.
